Our mission
The International Business & Civic Association serves as a vital bridge between international government leaders with San Francisco Bay Area business and government leaders who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church is a global faith with more than 16 million members speaking 177 languages and a track record of humanitarian aid in 179 countries. The Association convenes leaders and hosts events to foster understanding and collaboration.
Since 2014, the International Business & Civic Association has hosted an annual event for Consuls to be briefed by executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, scholars, and thought leaders from Silicon Valley. Our recent Silicon Valley Briefings have attracted more than 50 consuls representing more than 30 countries.
Since 1985, The Church of Jesus Christ has provided assistance to millions of people in 189 countries, regardless of culture or religious beliefs. The Church provides emergency assistance and long-term aid through clean water projects, wheelchair provision, maternal care, vision care, immunization campaigns, food production training, as well as a variety of local community projects.
